Our Process
At ViperWeb Consulting we have a tried and true seven step process that we go
through on every project. Our process is not exclusive to us rather its a proven
technical working for many industries for centuries. Our process is a simple
matter of planning and communication at every level of any given job or project.
1. Client Consultation
Our first step starts with a consultation, not unlike the screening before
seeing a new doctor, its where we find out what your needs are and how we can
help you and/or your business meet those needs. Business has changed so much in
the last 5 years even and we are doing more of our consultations via email,
Instant Messenger and/or Video conferencing, that said we still like to sit down
face to face with new out clients.
2. Planning
After we get the information we need about you and or your business and what you
need we research and plan for servicing your needs. For web sites for instance
we may need to research and find out what works best for your industry, or if
its a network we may need to plan the wiring the hardware needed. Though this
step may be very different for any given project it is an essential step in any
work process.
3. Second Client consultation
Though there isn’t always need for a second consultation we find that
communication is very important and we keep out clients very well informed at
every step of a project. On smaller projects this might be as simple as getting
final approval before we start the work.
4. Plan Revision and Plan Execution
On some projects new needs or concerns might be brought up on the second
consultation so we make any revisions to our plan once that’s done and approved
we start the work. On larger projects or new projects sometimes this takes more
then one step.
5. Project/Job Review (Internal)
Once we deem a project done, we review the project in full internally, make sure
nothing was mist and everything is working. If any issues come up we correct
them.
6. Client Review of Project
When the project is complete we always get with the client to review the project
with them they might see something we missed or if they have any concerns,
criticisms.
7. Follow Up and Future Planning
Once that is done we like to sit down with the clients and talk about the future
of there project, work out any maintenance plan or updates that may need to be
done, and we keep the client in the loop of any changes with there project.
Though every project is different, and smaller projects might not be this
"complicated" we think that these steps are a necessary part of any project
whether it be planning a new website, or just fixing the receptionists computer.
At the end of the day a well planned project will go smoother then a firm
rushing through it to just get it done.
We think out clients whether they are a small business or the guy around the
corner that got a virus on his home computer deserve fast reliable service at
fair prices and this is the process we use to give it to you.
